Favourite plants displayed on a wall give you the benefit of colour and interest with or without a garden.
Auriculas usually flower in late April or May with lovely velvety flowers of numerous colour combinations. Although they are hardy plants they don't appreciate wet conditions when they are flowering.
Miners and weavers in the North of England used to carry their Auricula Theatres on their backs to shows.
The plants were much prized and the displays meticulously prepared. Beware: The colours and plants are so individual an addiction can occur............
